I am Katie Jolly, a family law and mediation professional who's deeply committed to fostering a constructive approach to divorce and separation mediation. My work is centred around considering the entire family's needs, especially when navigating what can be a stressful time.

My Journey to Family Mediation—From Computing to Compassion

My career started in 1993 when I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Computing Information Systems before transitioning from a career in the city to teaching and moving into family support roles.

A Path to Mediation

I initially worked with the Safeguarding Children Board in Hertfordshire, leading to Family Group Conferencing, which developed my interest in supporting and empowering families to help them find their own solutions.

I continued my education and attained a Master's in Psychology in 2016, furthering my commitment to understanding family dynamics. This led me to a natural transition into family law and mediation. I have since mediated All Issues Mediation (child arrangements, property, and finance) with hundreds of couples and families, for Herts Young Homeless mediation service and Mediate UK before founding Jolly Mediation.

I am fully accredited with the Family Mediation Council (FMC) and have also achieved my FMC Child Inclusive Mediation (CIM) accreditation.

I keep up to date with all aspects covering family law and mediation along with financial aspects of separation and divorce through the attendance of regular training.

My Approach to Mediation: Empowering Families

  • A decade dedicated to supporting children, couples, and families.

Beyond Mediation

In my personal time, I cherish:
